Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and [PUBLISHER — company or your full name] ("we") about the Al Dente app and website. By making an account or using Al Dente, you agree to them.
Your account
You need an account to use Al Dente. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to consent to data processing where you live if that's higher.
Cooking safely
Al Dente gives step-by-step guidance, amounts and timers. It is a guide, not professional advice. Cooking involves heat, boiling water, knives and food that can cause illness or allergic reactions. Check ingredients for allergies, keep an eye on your stove, and use your own judgment. Timers and notifications can be delayed or missed by your device; don't leave a stove unattended because of them.
What you add
Your notes and photos stay yours. You give us permission to store them and show them back to you so the app can work. If a sharing feature is available and you choose to share a dish publicly, you give us permission to show that shared post to others until you make it private or delete it. Only add photos and text you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, hateful or explicit.
Using Al Dente fairly
Don't try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the limits of the service, or access other people's accounts or data.
Changes and ending
We may change or stop features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app. You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
No warranty
Al Dente is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from cooking with the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / STATE whose law applies], except where the law where you live says otherwise.
